This painting by Canan Tolon immediately caught my eye at the Miami Project fair.
I like the stark monochrome and the way the paint is almost etched onto the surface. Even in its abstraction, there’s a real sense of space, and at times you perceive figures and have a sense of blurred scenes on film.
