The Southwark bridge is pedestrian only for the Thames Festival, and the best part is they put couches and tables along it.

Eels supposedly were a common London snack. Tried some at this here, but they don’t have much of a taste.

I tried the hot eels, not the jellied ones which were beyond me. Served in a parsley soup of some sort with a side of mash. I don’t think it was just my mind, but they were a little slimy, except for the bones down the middle. Farm raised in Holland. Continue reading
