Spent 3 nights in Tirgu Mares, Romania, and explored Transylvania. My favorite sight was the salt mine in Praid.

I’ve never seen underground caverns of this size before. The ceiling was about 50 feet high and some rooms were over 100 feet long. It’s a little city 300 feet below ground. Continue reading
