My scrambled eggs a la Gordon Ramsey

After seeing this video of Gordon Ramsey making what he called "sublime scrambled eggs", , I knew I had to try making them, and Easter Sunday seemed like an ideal day.

I don't really know if taking the eggs on and off the heat really made a difference (it reminded me of Karate Kid "wax on, wax off"), but I have to say the eggs were pretty damn good. I didn't go for toast like Ramsey had, but rather a seeded type of roll. The bread with the eggs is where the flavor was at. The tomatoes and mushrooms were a nice garnish, but aren't really necessary.

Making this somewhat simple dish cost me almost $20 in ingredients. I'm going to have to eat eggs for a few times this week to recoup my investment, but I'll be happy to do so.
