Sunday was the last day I could rent a motorcycle before Jupiter’s closed for the season, and I took out a BMW G 650 GS.
First I ran up to Bear Mountain and found a lot of other riders that had the same idea. I took a walk through the woods, off the trail, and I really enjoyed listening to the breeze rustle the leaves in the trees. I also saw a family of deer.
The leaves had already turned, and there were some striking yellows and reds along the road. I crossed the Hudson and drove up to Beacon, where there was some cool art on the streets. I was pleasantly surprised to see my friend Faust had a piece in Electric Windows. You can see it in the upper left.
Of course part of the reason I was in Beacon was to go to the Dia Beacon museum. The pictures speak for themselves.
